The White Deer Of Wisconsin

white deer
The brief story of a group of rare albino or 'white' deer, some call them 'ghost deer,' clustered in North Central Wisconsin. Nobody completely understands how they got there or why they persist.

But a nature photographer John Richter has created a book called 'White Deer: Ghosts In The Forest,' that celebrates these amazing animals. He discovered that they have seem to have been there for ages, are subject of Native American legends and are mentioned in journals of European explorers.
