The Underwater Ruins Of Okinawa

Fifteen years ago, a diver discovered a mysterious cluster of ruins on Yonakuni Island in Okinawa that baffled experts as to its origin. Although it was declared to be a modern creation in 1992, the discovery of ancient tools that appear to have created these stone ruins reopened the debate and convinced many experts that the site has historical validity.

In the waters around Okinawa divers located eight separate locations, spread over an amazing 311 miles on the ocean floor. There are long streets, grand boulevards, majestic staircases, magnificent archways, enormous blocks of perfectly cut and fitted stone - all harmoniously welded together in a linear architecture unlike anything ever seen before.
