Wind Names

Yes, winds have names. Like the Haboob, a strong wind in the northern and central part of Sudan. Or the Warm Braw, a wind in the Schouten Islands north of New Guinea.

The Brickfielder is a wind from the desert in Southern Australia. And the Coromell is a night land breeze prevailing from November to May at La Paz, near the southern extremity of the Gulf of California.
