Translation Party

What do you get when you translate an English phrase into Japanese over and over again? Total gibberish. I started with this English phrase:

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You make me happy when skies are grey. You'll never know, dear, how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away.

This is what came out:

You are my sunshine, my only day. I'm happy with the gray sky. I'm not here? What is your favorite? Please check the distance from the sun.
