Today is Charles Dickens' 200th birthday. Charles John Huffam Dickens was born on February 7, 1812 and is considered the greatest English novelist of the Victorian period. Google is paying tribute with a doodle populated with some of Charles Dickens' most classic characters like Bob Cratchit, Pip, and Ebenezer Scrooge.
